Job Description

CookUnity is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its Supply Tech Team. This team is crucial to CookUnity's ChefOS Zone, building and maintaining chef and operations-focused software solutions. The ideal candidate will help build and maintain tools and processes to support Chef OS, collaborating with renowned chefs.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing new features, improving user experience and performance, and contributing to software architecture and best practices. They will also participate in code reviews, mentor other engineers, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to database design and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features to support business needs.
  • Iterate on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance.
  • Contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture, development of best practices, and new technologies.
  • Improve the maturity of our technical stack with engineering best practices.
  • Participate in the code review process and help mentor other engineers.
  • Contribute technically to projects by being a hands-on coder, removing roadblocks, and repairing technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot issues and create documentation.
  • Responsible for database design, implementation, and query development; specifically PostgreSQL.
  • Help maintain high levels of uptime and support the on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript.
  • Experience designing and building cloud architecture, backends, middle ends, and web apps.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and e2e tests.
  • Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
  • Understanding of how to interact with and build backend REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
  • Advanced level of English.
