Job Description
ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their ClickPipes Platform team. This role is crucial for driving the company's growth by ensuring seamless data integration from various sources into ClickHouse. The engineer will work at a petabyte scale in high-velocity environments, addressing challenging technical problems with significant autonomy.
Role Involves:
- Enhancing and scaling the high-performance data onboarding platform.
- Evolving infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Improving deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
- Driving technical discussions and contributing to architectural decisions.
- Participating in on-call rotations for system reliability.
- Continuously improving systems based on metrics and feedback.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform (or similar IaC tool).
- Solid knowledge of cloud-native architecture and major cloud service providers.
- Customer focus and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional debugging skills.
- High autonomy and a founder's mindset.
