Job Description
ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their ClickPipes Platform team. This role involves enhancing and scaling a high-performance data onboarding platform, managing infrastructure across multiple cloud providers, and driving improvements to deployment pipelines and operational processes. The engineer will participate in technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure system reliability through on-call rotations.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and scale the high-performance data onboarding platform.
- Own and evolve infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Drive improvements to deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
- Continuously improve systems based on operational metrics and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry experience as a backend engineer.
- Expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native architecture.
- Solid knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider.
- Customer focus and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional production debugging skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-velocity setting with significant autonomy.
