Inventory Control (B Shift Wed-Sat 6am-4pm)

Job Description

iHerb is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Material Handler - Inventory to maintain accurate inventory records. This role involves handling paperwork, verifying orders, managing cycle counts, and accounting for defective products. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of cGMPs, safety procedures, and inventory management.

• Following all Inventory and Safety Procedures
• Loading and unloading trailers, scanning merchandise, building pallets, and labeling merchandise
• Picking, packing, and sorting products
• Performing count of product / reconciliations (count cycle)
• Reviewing orders for fulfillment
• Supporting warehouse personnel with inventory issues and physical management of inventory
• Participating in physical inventory counts
• Inventory troubleshooting and research to complete customer order(s)
• Analyzing inventory stock levels
• Monitoring aging/usage levels of product
• Processing damage claims and performing root causes analysis of issues
• Updating computerized inventory records with use of Cubiscan machine
• Communicating and assisting staff with inventory concerns

Requirements:

• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices
• Must pass basic mathematics and Excel test
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems
• Accuracy and thoroughness with great attention to detail
• Skills in mathematics, personal computers (Excel) and spreadsheets
• Willingness to be trained and certified on industrial powered equipment
• Minimum of one (1) year of Inventory Control experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
