Job Description
Jobber is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Product Software Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and stability of Jobber's infrastructure, which supports small home service businesses. They will collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team to build and maintain a cutting-edge product, tackling challenges faced by millions of entrepreneurs. Role Involves:
- Collaborating on the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure.
- Developing and maintaining local tooling for development and observability.
- Participating in on-call rotation and enhancing the on-call experience.
- Leveraging AI tools to augment capabilities.
Requirements:
- Expertise in providing systems support within a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Experience with IaC using Terraform.
- Experience optimizing continuous deployment performance.
- Proficiency in Ruby, Python, or Bash.
- Passion for learning, reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
