Network Engineer

Job Description

Tenable is seeking a Network Engineer to contribute to the implementation, management, and support of a wide array of technologies. The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and patching critical infrastructure, assisting users with networking and systems issues, and supporting various IT initiatives. The engineer will collaborate with hardware, software, cloud environments, and SaaS providers to ensure optimal functionality, security, and performance across Tenable's technology stack.

The role involves:

• Managing and updating networking equipment to maintain security and performance.
• Gaining hands-on experience managing cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Assisting in collecting and analyzing auditing data from the technology stack.
• Contributing to securing the infrastructure against evolving threats.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in Networking and in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Routing Protocols such as OSPF and BGP
• Experience configuring Cisco Switches and Routers
• Experience with enterprise wifi solutions
• Experience troubleshooting complex network problems.
• A proactive mindset and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
