Job Description

Airspace, a tech-enabled freight forwarder, is seeking a HR Officer for a temporary full-time position in Penang. The HR Officer will serve as a liaison between the Human Resources department and all other departments within Airspace. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions.
  • Enter new employee information into the HRIS.
  • Maintain accurate employee and company records.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees regarding benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Facilitate initiatives that promote employee inclusivity.
  • Manage the off-boarding process.
  • Draft HR compliant documents.
  • Assist with setting up and managing payroll tax accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with state-mandated training programs.
  • Handle tasks related to internal employee appreciation incentives.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience with G-Suite products.
  • 2+ years of HRIS experience (InfoTech is a plus).
  • 2+ years of compliance and/or benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian wage and labor laws.
