Job Description
Airspace, a tech-enabled freight forwarder, is seeking a HR Officer for a temporary full-time position in Penang. The HR Officer will serve as a liaison between the Human Resources department and all other departments within Airspace. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process.
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions.
- Enter new employee information into the HRIS.
- Maintain accurate employee and company records.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for employees regarding benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters.
- Facilitate initiatives that promote employee inclusivity.
- Manage the off-boarding process.
- Draft HR compliant documents.
- Assist with setting up and managing payroll tax accounts.
- Ensure compliance with state-mandated training programs.
- Handle tasks related to internal employee appreciation incentives.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience with G-Suite products.
- 2+ years of HRIS experience (InfoTech is a plus).
- 2+ years of compliance and/or benefits administration.
- Knowledge of Malaysian wage and labor laws.
