Job Description
LA28 is seeking a Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Risk Management & Program Assurance. This role is within the Games Planning & Delivery group, focusing on delivering a seamless Games experience. The Venue Infrastructure team manages the design, development, and construction of venues. The Sr. Manager will support the strategy and execution of risk management and program assurance processes, reporting to the Director, Infrastructure Program Management.Role involves:
  • Leading infrastructure risk management strategy and implementation.
  • Preparing and maintaining the master issues tracker.
  • Facilitating risk reviews and ensuring expert involvement.
  • Advancing key risks to decision-makers and championing mitigation plans.
  • Overseeing external risk management staff and contractors.
  • Preparing assurance programs and setting up monitoring processes.
  • Coordinating with the LA28 Risk team and partnering with Venue Development and Engineering teams.
  • Incorporating risk activities into the infrastructure master schedule.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of program and project management experience in infrastructure.
  • Expertise in construction risk management and program assurance.
  • Experience with temporary infrastructure for large-scale sports events.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure delivery activities.
  • Extensive knowledge of risk analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent command of productivity tools.
