Job Description
Launch Potato is seeking a Senior Manager, Paid Media to drive the growth and profitability of its paid media portfolio. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns across multiple channels and verticals.Role involves:
  • Taking full ownership of pacing, reporting, and performance for all assigned Google Ads campaigns across channels (Search, Display, Demand Gen, Performance Max).
  • Sourcing and managing creative assets, including ad copy and creative materials, for campaigns and maintaining an organized asset library.
  • Planning, launching, and optimizing new campaigns with thoughtful strategy and clear measurable objectives.
  • Continuously monitoring campaign health, performing routine optimizations to drive higher CTR, reduce CPA, and increase ROAS.
  • Documenting all tests and campaign changes in a structured test log, sharing wins and learnings with both the Paid Media team and broader internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with business leads, account managers, and the yield team to identify trends, provide performance updates, and surface headwinds or tailwinds that impact delivery and pacing.
  • Utilizing competitive research and intelligence tools to understand vertical landscapes and identify areas for new growth and optimization opportunities.
  • Becoming the internal subject matter expert on Google Ads strategy, owning full campaign life cycles and consistently seeking ways to grow spend efficiently while maintaining strong margins.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience planning, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Demand Gen, Performance Max, YouTube).
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and meet ROAS and revenue KPIs independently.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Looker, Tableau, or equivalent, plus Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups).
  • Ability to write compelling ad copy and partner on creative asset development.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
