Job Description
Notion is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves partnering with the sales organization on customer engagements, responding to technical questions, and providing guidance throughout the sales process. The Solutions Engineer will showcase custom solutions, curate product feedback, and educate the sales team on the product and competitive landscape. Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).
- Partner with members of the sales org on customer engagements
- Respond to advanced product and technical questions, RFPs, and security questionnaires
- Provide thoughtful technical guidance to customers throughout the sales process
- Showcase custom solutions with Notion
- Curate structured product feedback
- Work with marketing to refine our technical narrative for the product
- Educate the sales org on the product, upcoming releases, and competitive analysis
- Document technical considerations and contribute to internal knowledge bases
- 4+ years as Technical Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect
- Understanding of APIs
- Experience working with third-party integrations for IAM/SSO, DLP or SIEM platforms
- Strong project management experience
