Job Description

Prezzee is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, building, and maintenance of data pipelines. This role involves working on a multinational data platform, integrating data from various regions, and shaping the company's data capabilities. The Senior Data Engineer will report to the Head of Infrastructure.Prezzee is a digital gifting platform that builds human connections through gifting moments. They have over 1,000 brand partners globally and thrive on innovation and collaboration.What this role involves:

• Owning the end-to-end development of scalable data pipelines in AWS and Databricks.
• Optimising data infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Managing and maintaining critical software systems.
• Collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams.
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Defining and enhancing technical standards and documentation.
• Promoting best practices for data engineering.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Extensive experience building data pipelines in AWS and Databricks.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
• Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical partners.
• Experience with Redshift, Postgres, DynamoDB, Looker and Workday Prism Analytics would be a bonus.
