Proton, a company dedicated to providing free and open-source technology to ensure online privacy, security, and freedom, is seeking a Partnerships Marketing Manager. This role involves scaling Proton's affiliate and partner programs across Proton Mail, Proton Pass, Proton Drive, and Proton VPN. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in affiliate marketing and strong commercial instincts.

What this role involves:

  • Owning and growing high-impact affiliate relationships with top-tier content publishers, blogs, and affiliate networks.
  • Driving performance through CRO, creative testing, and funnel optimization.
  • Identifying, recruiting, and negotiating new partnerships in competitive verticals.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, PR, and brand teams.

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years’ experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or digital business development.
  • Experience working in competitive verticals (e.g., cybersecurity, SaaS, finance, ecommerce).
  • Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
  • Confidence working with performance data (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, internal dashboards).
  • Knowledge of performance channels such as SEO, content marketing, paid media, and PR.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • CRO/UX experience and a keen eye for conversion drivers.
  • Familiarity with affiliate networks (e.g., CJ, PartnerStack, Impact).
  • Existing network of relevant affiliates or media partners.
  • Experience working with tools like SEMrush, Similarweb, Looker, or Tableau.
