iFood is seeking a Staff Software Engineer SRE to join their team. The candidate will play a crucial role in evolving the company's infrastructure, supporting strategic migrations, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of environments. They will work collaboratively with the team, sharing knowledge and best practices in SRE.

The role involves adapting Zoop's tooling to iFood's standards, promoting a unified approach that allows teams to focus on delivering high-quality results. The engineer will actively participate in planning, developing, and implementing technical solutions, contributing to the automation, observability, performance, and resilience of the company's platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolving the company's infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools and practices (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, Chef).
  • Proficiency in cloud computing environments, especially AWS.
  • Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, with the ability to operate and optimize clusters.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, including pipelines, continuous integration, and automated delivery.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar).
  • Proactive and collaborative profile with excellent communication and team spirit.
