Job Description
ClearScore is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their finance team in London. The Payroll Manager will oversee all payroll operations for close to 500 employees across the ClearScore Group, which includes the UK, South Africa, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. The role also involves managing personnel matters such as expense reimbursements, forecasting, and headcount management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process across all ClearScore Group entities.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant compliance and regulations in each payroll jurisdiction.
- Act as the key point of contact for all employee-related payroll queries.
- Manage payroll matters with benefit providers, payroll partners, and other stakeholders.
- Provide detailed payroll reconciliations and post payroll journal entries.
- Assist with financial reporting of staff costs.
- Keep abreast of payroll legislation and implement best practices.
- Manage ClearScore’s employee expense reimbursement process.
Requirements:
- CIPP qualification (or international equivalent) is preferred.
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing software (HiBob/Pento, Deel is advantageous).
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance (South Africa, Australia and Canada would also be advantageous).
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- A drive to make continuous improvements to processes and automate tasks.
