Job Description

Domo is seeking an Associate Technical Consultant to join its Client Services team. This role focuses on implementing fault-tolerant, highly scalable solutions, leveraging AI and data products. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with data and a strong background in business intelligence systems.

The Associate Technical Consultant will partner with business users and technical teams to understand data requirements and support solution development. They will assist in implementing best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling. The role involves aggregating, transforming, and preparing large datasets for use within Domo solutions, ensuring data quality, and performing validation across pipelines and reports.

Responsibilities include:

• Partner with business users and technical teams to understand data requirements.
• Assist in implementing best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling.
• Aggregate, transform, and prepare large datasets for use within Domo solutions.
• Ensure data quality and perform validation across pipelines and reports.
• Write Python scripts to automate governance processes.
• Create workflows in Domo to automate business processes.
• Build custom Domo applications or custom bricks to support unique client use cases.
• Develop Agent Catalysts to deliver generative AI-powered insights within Domo.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices to drive customer enablement and success.
• Support the documentation of data pipelines and the development of artifacts for long-term customer enablement.

Requirements include:

• 3+ years of experience supporting business intelligence systems in a BI or ETL Developer role.
• Expert SQL skills.
• Expertise with Windows and Linux environments.
• Expertise with at least one of the following database technologies: relational, columnar, and NoSQL.
• Understanding of data modeling skills.
• Experience dealing with large datasets.
• Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Proven experience in effectively partnering with business teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.
• Ability to think outside the box.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to varied requirements.
