Notion, a company that aims to make software customizable for everyone, is seeking a Technical Architect to join their Professional Services team in Tokyo, Japan. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing technical solutions for large-scale enterprise deployments.
This role requires close collaboration with customers and internal teams, including Product, Engineering, CX (Support), and Sales.
What This Role Involves:
- Contributing to the technical aspects of customer engagements, from understanding requirements to designing and implementing solutions.
- Working with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-architected solutions.
- Participating in technical design sessions to architect and document solutions.
- Supporting the technical delivery of customer development, integrations, and data migration.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance Notion usage within customer organizations.
- Collaborating with Product, CX, and Engineering teams to address technical challenges and provide customer feedback.
- Assisting in navigating the technical complexities of large-scale Notion deployments.
- Contributing to the growth of the Professional Services team by sharing best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a similar role in SaaS or enterprise software.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, or Python).
- Hands-on experience with APIs and data integration.
- Strong communication skills to engage technical and business audiences.
- A track record of delivering customer value by translating technical challenges into practical solutions.
- Fluent Japanese and business English skills.
