Responsibilities include: - Processing Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR)
- Processing Erasure Requests
- Assisting with investigatory work for customer inquiries and complaints
- Drafting responses for inquiries from clients and staff
- Maintaining internal data protection logs
- Conducting obfuscation checks and quality assurance
- Reviewing and proofreading legal documentation
- Assisting with legal and data protection research
- Assisting with Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Archiving and organizing contracts and data protection documentation
- Assisting with vendor management review process
- Communicating with developers for data protection documentation implementation
- Assisting with general office administrative tasks
Requirements: - A professional qualification or certification in data protection is desirable, such as IAPP’s CIPP E/M/T.
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth business and maintain a high standard of attention to detail.
- 1+ years of experience in a legal setting or data protection is desirable.
- Basic understanding or interest in global data protection/privacy laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is desirable.
- Fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
