Job Description
Verkada, a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their growing Canadian Field Sales team in Toronto. This role is focused on driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth within the Corporate Enterprise market. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, driven individual with experience in building a greenfield territory.
The role involves:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive territory plan.
- Managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Penetrating greenfield accounts and achieving a quarterly quota.
- Driving customer retention through expansion discussions.
- Partnering with Verkada’s channel partner sales organization.
- Driving business growth through customer engagements and marketing campaigns.
- Gaining an in-depth understanding of Verkada’s business and products.
- Creating effective presentations and proposals.
- Providing account analysis and revenue forecasts.
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of B2B software/hardware technology sales experience.
- Proven track record of success in a sales-driven organization.
- Hunter sales mentality with a strong desire to be successful.
- Willingness to have a strong field presence and travel up to 50%.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging with C-level executives.
- Strong knowledge and execution of MEDDIC is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- BS/BA degree is strongly preferred.
