Vehicle Appraiser (Consumer Acquisitions)

Job Description

Clutch, Canada's largest online used car retailer, is seeking a Vehicle Appraiser to join their Marketplace Supply team in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and will play a key role in growing and scaling Clutch's inventory across Canada. This individual will implement cost and pricing frameworks and enhance purchasing decisions.

The Vehicle Appraiser will use their detail-oriented skills and analytical abilities to drive the business forward in a fast-paced environment.

What this role involves:

• Appraising customer inbound vehicles across multiple markets using retail and auction data
• Determining retail pricing for newly acquired vehicles or identifying those for auction
• Reviewing Carfax reports and applying accurate adjustments
• Identifying and pricing damages for vehicles in real time
• Assisting with projects to organize and refine vehicle data

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Strong passion for cars is preferred
• Flexible schedule, must be able to work weekends and late shifts
• High attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Sheets
• Must be comfortable working on-site at our Mississauga facility
