Job Description
A company is seeking a Windows System Administrator in Columbia, MD, to support the delivery staff by ensuring service levels and objectives are met. The Windows System Administrator will be responsible for administrating day-to-day IT systems, performing software installations and upgrades, monitoring system performance, and ensuring workstation/server data integrity.
- Administrating day-to-day IT systems
- Performing software installations and upgrades
- Monitoring and tuning the system for optimal performance
- Installing and monitoring security auditing software
- Ensuring workstation/server data integrity
- Developing and promoting standard operating procedures
- Providing technical oversight during installations and recovery projects
Requirements:
- Active & Current TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly REQUIRED
- Ten (10) years of experience as a SA
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 5 years of SA experience)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + Preferred)
