Job Description
Paystack is seeking a talented Product Designer to contribute to building exceptional consumer-facing payment experiences. The Product Designer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints. The designer will craft elegant solutions that serve Paystack's user base across different regions, addressing payment challenges with innovative, culturally relevant approaches. This is a full-time role ideally located in Nigeria.Paystack's mission is to power African ambition, and the Product Designer's work will directly impact millions of Africans as they engage with digital commerce.Responsibilities:- Design elegant, intuitive interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements and user needs into compelling design solutions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing.
- Contribute to and help maintain Paystack's design system.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented with high fidelity.
- Stay current with design trends, patterns, and best practices.
- Advocate for user-centred design practices.
- Provide constructive feedback to teammates.
- 3+ years of experience designing digital products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating process and outcomes.
- Strong visual design skills.
- Experience designing for financial services, payments, or e-commerce.
- Expertise in mobile design patterns.
- Comfortable using design tools like Figma.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience conducting user research.
- Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
- Passionate about creating accessible, inclusive designs.
