Job Description
Cresco Labs is seeking a Lead Cultivation Agent to optimize plant health and lead a team in Yellow Springs, OH. The Lead Cultivation Agent will be responsible for leading cultivation agents in various key cultivation activities, including defoliation, skirting, harvesting, and sanitation. This role requires fostering a collaborative team environment and ensuring compliance with state regulations and Cresco Labs standards.
Responsibilities: - Leading cultivation agents in prunes, cleaning, and general garden tasks.
- Serving as a role model and resource within cultivation.
- Delegating tasks to gardeners and harvest technicians.
- Ensuring accurate information is communicated to the cultivation staff.
- Leading all cultivation tasks and processes.
- Ensuring proper documentation of all applicable activities.
- Measuring and mixing nutrient and plant applications.
- Analyzing plant health and applying strain-specific pruning techniques.
- Inputting waste through METRC to maintain garden compliance.
Requirements: - Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing a large-scale agriculture facility preferred.
- Two years’ experience within a production facility, regulated field highly preferred.
- Effective time-management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Advanced knowledge of plant cultivation and cultivation facility operations.
- Computer literacy in word processing, point-of-sale systems, windows-based software, and database management.
- Knowledge of medical cannabis policy and law.
- Critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.
