Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Cloud Security Implementation)

Job Description

FalconX is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to enhance cloud infrastructure security. The candidate will embed security into the cloud infrastructure lifecycle, focusing on automation and DevSecOps practices. This role involves collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to secure AWS environments.Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing security controls in AWS.
• Integrating security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and patching.
• Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Deploying and managing cloud security tools.
• Automating security operations and incident response.
• Ensuring Kubernetes and container security.
• Maintaining compliance with industry standards.
• Documenting security processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or security engineering with AWS focus.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and AWS services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with cloud security tools and CI/CD integration.
• Foundational knowledge of Kubernetes and container security.
