Job Description

Tandem, a UK-based digital bank focused on green initiatives, is seeking an Arrears & Litigation Executive to join their team in Cardiff. This role is crucial for ensuring fair treatment of customers in financial difficulty while adhering to regulatory obligations.

The Arrears & Litigation Executive will manage later arrears cases for motor finance and mortgages, utilizing strong litigation experience on secured loans. They will be responsible for handling complex cases, preparing court documentation, and identifying appropriate exit strategies.

Role Involves:

• Proactively servicing customer requests and providing necessary information.
• Managing inbound communication via various channels.
• Ensuring accurate issuance of regulatory documentation.
• Identifying situations requiring specialist handling (e.g., complaints, vulnerability).
• Managing accounts in arrears and negotiating repayment options.
• Completing Income and Expenditure assessments.
• Applying knowledge of late arrears and litigation practices.
• Maintaining compliance with FCA regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in financial services with customer service and arrears management.
• Experience working with mortgage and motor finance arrears, including repossessions.
• Knowledge of FCA rules (MCOB and CONC), CCA, and GDPR regulations.
