Arrears & Litigation Executive

Tandem, a UK-based digital bank focused on green initiatives, is seeking an Arrears & Litigation Executive to join their team in Durham. This role is crucial for ensuring fair treatment of customers in financial difficulty while adhering to regulatory obligations.

The Arrears & Litigation Executive will manage later arrears cases for motor finance and mortgages, providing support to customers and achieving departmental service levels. The role requires strong litigation experience with secured loans, including motor finance repossessions.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively servicing customer requests and managing inbound communication.
• Ensuring accurate issuance of regulatory documentation.
• Identifying situations requiring specialist handling (e.g., complaints, vulnerability).
• Managing accounts in arrears and negotiating repayment options.
• Completing income and expenditure assessments.
• Adhering to FCA regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in financial services with customer service and arrears management.
• Experience working with mortgage and motor finance arrears, including repossessions.
• Knowledge of FCA rules (MCOB and CONC), CCA, and GDPR regulations.
• Experience in litigation for motor finance and mortgages.
