Job Description
YipitData is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team. The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the data feed revenue by providing operational and quantitative development support to clients, enabling them to effectively utilize and evaluate YipitData's data feeds. This role requires someone proactive and analytically minded, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and product adoption.
Role Involves:
- Providing operational support during client onboarding, focusing on the setup, configuration, and integration of complex data feeds.
- Partnering with Sales to drive product adoption by delivering demonstrations, analyses, and explanations of complex data feeds to clients.
- Addressing client queries and maintaining strong relationships by ensuring data solutions align with clients' investment strategies.
- Developing quantitative documentation, scripts, and use-case examples to facilitate client evaluations, integrations, and ongoing data usage.
- Collaborating with Product to improve product features based on client feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or finance-related field.
- Experience in financial markets (Nice to have).
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Experience working with US clients is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, Jupyter, and AWS.
- Primary residency (and physical location) in Colombia.
