Job Description
iCapital Network is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to its financial technology platform. The Software Engineer will be involved in developing new features, enhancements, and resolving defects across iCapital's software platforms. The role requires close collaboration with the Product Management team, detailing requirements, reviewing progress, and addressing issues.
Responsibilities:
- Backend feature development in Ruby and Rails
- Frontend development in React and Redux
- Unit and integration test development
- Building out prototypes and POCs
- Active participation in daily stand up meetings
- Active participation in Peer Code Reviews
Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering
- 4+ years of Full Stack, web-based application development
- 4+ years of development experience with React and Ruby on Rails
- Understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices
- Passion for actively learning new technologies
- Ability to work independently or as part of a group effort
- Solid problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English and Portuguese required
