Job Description
Parallel is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support school partnerships in Maryland for the 2025-2026 school year. The SLP will play a crucial role in empowering students with learning differences and fostering their success. This role involves providing exceptional care, equipping children with essential tools, and collaborating with a dedicated team.
Role Involves: - Conducting comprehensive SLP evaluations and delivering direct therapy.
- Developing and implementing targeted IEP goals.
- Communicating progress with parents, staff, and students.
- Participating in team meetings and collaborative problem-solving.
- Completing essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostics.
Requirements: - ASHA Certified SLP (CCC-SLP).
- At least 1 year of experience delivering IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (post-CFY).
- Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and crafting educational reports.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Comfort engaging children from diverse backgrounds and using virtual telehealth platforms.
- Availability during school hours.
