Job Description
Parallel is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support school partnerships in Pennsylvania for the 2025-2026 school year. The Speech-Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in empowering students with learning differences by providing exceptional care and equipping them with the tools needed for success.What this role involves:
  • Conducting SLP evaluations and delivering direct services to children.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Monitoring each child's progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Communicating with parents, staff, and students regarding progress.
  • Completing essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Meeting with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs.
  • Actively participating in team meetings.
What Parallel requires:
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • At least 1 year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (CFY not included).
  • Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms.
  • Availability during school hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday).
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus!
