Job Description
Butternut Box is seeking a Machine Technician to join their team at Rudie's Kitchen in Blyth, Doncaster. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a rolling average of 41 hours per week on a shift rotation, including days, nights, and some weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving line performance, diagnosing operational issues, conducting quality checks, and performing machine hygiene and changeovers.
Role Involves:
- Driving line performance and diagnosing operational issues
- Conducting quality checks to meet product specifications
- Performing machine/equipment hygiene and changeovers
- Preparing ingredients for production and mixing recipes
- Operating production line equipment
- General facility hygiene
Requirements:
- Previous machine operative experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty and high-speed machinery
- Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations
- Working level of speaking English and ability to read English
- Numerate and good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment and processing raw protein
