Job Description
Butternut Box is seeking a Production Technician to join their team at Rudie's Kitchen in Blyth, Doncaster. This role, also known as a Skilled Operator, involves working within a close-knit team to produce and package Butternut Box meals. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working dog lover with previous machine operative experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Role Involves:
- Driving line performance and diagnosing operational issues
- Conducting quality checks to meet product specifications
- Performing machine/equipment hygiene and changeovers
- Preparing ingredients for production and mixing recipes
- Operating production line equipment
- General tasks such as waste processing and order packing
- Maintaining facility hygiene
Requirements:
- Previous machine operative experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty and high-speed machinery
- Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations
- Working level of speaking English and ability to read English
- Numerate and good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment and with raw protein
