Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Manager of Billing Compliance to join their collaborative team. This role is crucial in ensuring billing compliance, enhancing efficiency, and driving operational effectiveness. The Senior Manager will partner with various teams, champion best practices, and support business objectives.
Role involves:
- Leading a team of billing professionals.
- Mentoring billing analysts.
- Designing effective controls and optimizing billing processes.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with operations and accounting teams.
- Ensuring internal controls for billing-related processes.
- Leading the month-end close process.
- Performing account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
- Defining and publishing metrics to measure billing effectiveness.
- Documenting and maintaining policies.
- Providing audit support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred).
- 8+ years of accounting and finance experience with billing and revenue expertise.
- Expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce.com, ERP systems, and reporting solutions.
