Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Manager of Billing Compliance to join their collaborative team. This role is crucial for ensuring billing compliance and enhancing efficiency across the organization. The Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director, Order-to-Cash and will be based near one of Axon's US Hubs.
Role involves:
- Leading a team of billing professionals.
- Mentoring billing analysts.
- Fostering a customer-focused culture.
- Designing effective controls and optimizing billing processes.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with operations and accounting teams.
- Ensuring internal controls for billing-related processes.
- Leading the month-end close process.
- Performing account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
- Defining and publishing metrics to measure billing effectiveness.
- Documenting and maintaining policies.
- Providing audit support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA license preferred.
- 8+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- Expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce.com, and ERP systems.
