Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Manager of Billing Compliance to join their collaborative team. This role is crucial in ensuring billing compliance and enhancing operational efficiency. The Senior Manager will partner with various teams, including Sales, Quoting, Order Management, Accounting, and Revenue. Axon is on a mission to Protect Life, and this role contributes significantly to that mission.
What This Role Involves:
- Leading a team of billing professionals.
- Mentoring billing analysts.
- Fostering a customer-focused culture.
- Designing effective controls and optimizing billing processes.
- Leveraging data-driven insights for operational efficiency.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to establish policies.
- Ensuring internal controls for billing-related processes.
- Leading the month-end close process.
- Performing account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
- Defining and publishing metrics to measure billing effectiveness.
- Documenting and maintaining policies.
- Providing audit support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA license preferred.
- 8+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- Billing and revenue expertise.
- Experience with a publicly traded company preferred.
- Expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce.com, ERP systems, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborative leadership with a growth mindset.
- Proven ability to identify transformation opportunities.
