Job Description
Axon is seeking a Senior Manager of Billing Compliance to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring billing compliance and enhancing operational efficiency. The Senior Manager will lead a team, foster a customer-focused culture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Axon is located in Sterling, Virginia.
Role Involves:
- Leading a team of billing professionals.
- Mentoring billing analysts.
- Developing a deep understanding of the quote-to-cash cycle.
- Ensuring internal controls for billing-related processes.
- Leading the month-end close process.
- Performing account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
- Defining and publishing metrics to measure billing effectiveness.
- Documenting and maintaining billing policies.
- Providing audit support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent.
- CPA license preferred.
- 8+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- Billing and revenue expertise.
- Experience with a publicly traded company preferred.
- Expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce.com, ERP systems, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborative leadership with a growth mindset.
