The IT Systems Engineer will bring an engineering mindset to solving technical problems and will be responsible for managing the existing device fleet, leading strategic projects, and contributing to long-term roadmap planning.
The role involves:
- Building the technical foundation for the team.
- Partnering with Security and Operations teams.
- Designing automated systems that scale.
- Setting new standards for security and support.
The candidate should have:
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling IT systems.
- Experience in Client Platform Engineering and IAM Engineering.
- Experience managing Mac-first environments.
- Ability to write production-quality automation code.
- Experience deploying and managing MDM solutions.
- Track record of implementing and managing SSO systems and SCIM.
Notion also lists following as nice to have:
- Experience implementing and deploying Zero Trust Architecture in corporate environments
- Pragmatic approach to balancing security requirements with excellent user experience
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment and building new systems
