Field Operations Manager

Job Description

Via, a technology company transforming transportation, is seeking a Field Operations Manager for its Transit-as-a-Service (TaaS) Operations team. This role is responsible for managing daily operations using Via's technology platform, driving continuous improvement and growth of services. This is a fully in-person position, requiring the candidate to be onsite 4-5 days per week.Via partners with over 100 cities and public transit agencies globally, aiming to enhance transportation equity and reduce carbon emissions.What this role involves:

• Ensuring operational excellence and customer experience
• Overseeing operations in person, with potential for early mornings or evenings
• Managing driver supply to meet demand
• Prioritizing and resolving operational issues
• Responding to driver feedback and customer issues
• Collaborating with a team to scale operational processes
• Analyzing metrics/KPIs to optimize operations

Requirements:

• Aligned with promoting transportation equity and reducing carbon emissions
• Self-starter with a high level of responsibility
• Driven executor with a track record of hitting KPIs and revenue goals
• Team-focused individual
• Experienced in project management, operational processes, and customer service
• Multi-site management experience is a plus
• Outgoing leader with professional communication skills
• Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
• Based in the Springfield, Dayton, or Columbus OH area
• Experienced in managing a team is a plus
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to change
• Experienced in managing projects with multiple stakeholders is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
