Full Stack Engineer (Java)

Job Description

Vonage is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Java) to join their team in Wrocław, Poland. This role is remote. The successful candidate will be instrumental in innovating cloud communications for businesses worldwide. They will be part of a team that drives multiple communication solutions across various platforms, supporting hundreds of thousands of daily users.

The Full Stack Engineer will manage end-to-end projects with a strong focus on backend development, utilizing Java expertise to research, design, and develop high-performance systems. They will embrace a DevOps culture and implement a full-stack approach, working on cutting-edge projects to ensure scalability, compatibility, and robustness.

What this role involves:

• Managing end-to-end projects with a focus on backend development.
• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices.
• Implementing features end-to-end, including both frontend and backend development.
• Ensuring seamless deployment of applications through CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of commercial experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on Java (Java Spring, Spring Boot).
• Knowledge of cloud and backend technologies, including AWS and relational or non-relational databases.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable, loosely coupled, and maintainable microservices.
• Track record of designing and delivering end-to-end projects while effectively collaborating with global teams.
• Willingness to work with frontend technologies.
