Technical Team Leader Software Engineering (f/m/d)

Job Description

Wunderflats, a leading platform for flexible furnished housing in Germany, is seeking a Technical Team Leader to guide their software engineering team. This role is based in Berlin and offers a hybrid work environment.

The Technical Team Leader will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. They will champion code quality, collaborate with product managers and stakeholders, and evaluate new technologies.

Role Involves:

• Leading and mentoring a team of 4 engineers.
• Owning the technical vision and roadmap for the Bookings team.
• Championing code quality, testing, and automation.
• Collaborating with product manager, designer, QA Analyst, and stakeholders.
• Spearheading the evaluation and adoption of new technologies.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying scalable, cloud-native applications using Node.js, React, and Typescript on Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of GraphQL API design, microservices architecture, and MongoDB.
• 1+ years of experience directly managing and mentoring a team of software engineers.
• Strong architectural skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
