Job Description

Appier, a SaaS company specializing in AI-powered business decisions, is seeking a Senior LLM Scientist to join their Enterprise Solution Science Team. This role involves applying cutting-edge ML technologies to real-world marketing challenges, utilizing omnichannel customer data. The Senior LLM Scientist will be responsible for end-to-end development, from problem definition to model deployment.Appier is looking for someone to:

• Work on LLM-related topics like agents, chatbots, copilots, and RAG systems.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate product goals into ML problems.
• Work with ML engineers to deploy models to production.
• Conduct offline and online model evaluation and optimization.
• Stay updated with the latest research and propose innovative applications.
• Mentor junior scientists and evolve team standards (optional).

Appier requires:

• A Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning or engineering roles.
• Experience building and deploying enterprise-level LLM applications.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with multi-step reasoning, modular workflows, and RAG pipelines.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and leading industry projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using LLM-powered tools.
