Digital Assets Compliance Officer

Job Description

DRW is seeking a Digital Assets Compliance Officer to join their global compliance team in Singapore. This role will work closely with the Head of Compliance for the APAC region in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of financial markets and a keen attention to detail.This role involves:

• Leading the planning, development, and implementation of the firm’s compliance & AML program specific to digital asset trading activities in Singapore.
• Addressing day-to-day compliance/AML related questions regarding digital asset trading.
• Tracking the evolving regulatory landscape within the digital assets industry in Singapore.
• Identifying surveillance and reporting requirements in Singapore.
• Liaising with MAS/regulators.
• Leading compliance for all external communications with counterparties.
• Supporting the global DRW AML team.

DRW is looking for someone who has:

• A degree in finance, quantitative finance, risk, or related studies.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in the digital asset industry in Singapore or with MAS.
• A deep understanding of Payment Services Act - Digital Payment Token Services rules and regulations.
• A deep knowledge of AML rules and regulations in Singapore.
• Direct experience in dealing with the MAS.
• Experience designing and implementing AML programs in the digital asset industry.
• Experience designing and deploying quality control/quality assurance programs.
• Proficiency with blockchain monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication skills and is a team player.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.
