Outlier is seeking a skilled and experienced software engineer to work as a Remote Coding Expert. The company partners with organizations to train large language models, helping them write better code. This is a freelance opportunity that is fully remote so candidates from all over Japan are encouraged to apply.
The role involves working with models that are learning to code, addressing a variety of problems. While AI experience is not required, the ideal candidate should be proficient in explaining complex concepts in Japanese.
Role Involves:- Creating and answering computer science-related questions to train AI models
- Evaluating and ranking code generated by AI models
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science from a well-known university
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, C++, Swift, Verilog
- Ability to explain complex concepts fluently in Japanese
- Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
- Flexible working hours
- Competitive compensation, ranging from USD $25 to $50 per hour for core project work
