Receiving Specialist

Job Description

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Receiving Specialist to work in Frederick, MD. The Receiving Specialist will be responsible for accurately receiving shipments of materials and products, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate departments.Role involves:

• Unloading, receiving, and signing for incoming packages.
• Reconciling the number of packages received/delivered.
• Inspecting and recording packages for damage or defects.
• Quarantining mis-delivered packages and notifying Inventory Control.
• Reconciling purchased materials received compared to Purchase Orders.
• Submitting to QA and completing RM label process for Received Items.
• Delivering RM Labeled Items to Recipient/Department and maintaining a Log.
• Returning RM Label Packet to Quality Assurance Group.
• Performing Routine Dock Clearance.
• Contributing to Continuous Process Improvement Initiatives.
• Supporting Shipping Specialist Role, as necessary.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year relevant working experience.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Receiving procedures.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
• Flexibility and agility to handle changing assignments.
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in English.
