Job Description
Darktrace is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to join their Partner team. This role is focused on supporting Optiv partners and driving revenue growth through them. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical sales background and industry expertise. He will be responsible for designing and proposing solutions, conducting product demos, and providing technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of channel sales strategies and partner ecosystems.
- Leveraging relationships with Optiv.
- Aligning technical activities with revenue growth.
- Understanding customer pain and creating metrics.
- Communicating complex technical concepts.
- Building and maintaining relationships with channel partners.
- Using CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Maintaining familiarity with sales enablement platforms and tools.
- Maintaining proficiency with technical tools.
- Maintaining strong competitor knowledge.
- Contributing to wider technical initiatives.
- Transferring knowledge to peers.
- Working cross-functionally with sales, product management, engineering, and marketing.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales role.
- Experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or networking.
- Experience working with channel partners, VARs, or distributors.
- In-depth understanding of the company’s products and solutions.
- Ability to design and propose solutions.
- Experience in conducting product demos and technical presentations.
- Understanding of systems integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
