Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to contribute coding expertise to train AI models. The company partners with organizations to train AI large language models, focusing on helping generative AI models write better code. This role involves engaging with models on discrete, variable problems as they learn to code. Previous AI experience is not required.Role involves:
- Crafting and answering questions related to computer science
- Evaluating and ranking code generated by AI models.
- Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science at a selective institution.
- Proficiency working with one or more of the the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript, C++, Swift, and Verilog.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in Australian English.
- Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
- Flexible, remote freelance opportunity.
- Variable pay rates based on expertise, skills assessment, location and project needs.
