Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join their team in Barcelona. Monzo is on a mission to make money work for everyone, waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking. The Lead Product Designer will play a key role in tackling complex design challenges, defining large-scale projects, and leading the creation of compelling product visions.
Role involves:
- Tackling complex and ambiguous design challenges.
- Defining and delivering large-scale projects.
- Leading the creation of compelling product visions.
- Raising the bar for visual execution.
- Positively influencing our design system, tooling, and processes.
- Driving improvements across the business.
- Acting as a role model in Design, sharing your work broadly, mentoring others, and contributing to the growth and success of the Design team.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-centric native-app designs.
- Skilled at leading research, defining product visions, and aligning teams.
- Excel at creating modular, scalable solutions.
- Natural collaborator who can navigate multi-squad projects.
- Passionate about improving design systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Role model who actively contributes to the growth of the Design team.
- Excited about Monzo’s mission.
