Job Description
XP Inc., a major independent financial institution in Brazil, is seeking a Senior Auditor to contribute to the evaluation of business activities and processes. This role involves validating compliance with established procedures, policies, laws, and regulations, as well as ensuring that relevant risks are mitigated.
The Senior Auditor will work alongside diverse and talented individuals, with opportunities for constant learning and significant impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting internal audits across the organization.
- Evaluating processes and controls for operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, focusing on Treasury, Financial Risk Management, Accounting, and Pricing.
- Identifying risk areas and proposing improvements to internal processes.
- Preparing detailed audit reports with recommendations.
- Monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Adapting internal processes to changes in regulations and accounting standards.
Requirements:
- Alignment with XP Inc.'s culture.
- Strong communication skills.
- Graduation in Accounting Sciences, Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Prior experience in internal or external auditing with knowledge of Treasury, Financial Risk Management (Market, Credit, Liquidity, IRRBB, and Operational), Accounting (Res. CMN 4.966/ IFRS 9), and Pricing.
- Experience in the financial market and knowledge of regulations applicable to the Central Bank of Brazil.
- Knowledge of best market practices for risk assessment.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different areas of the company.
