UX Writer

Job Description

PayPay, a fintech company with over 69 million users, is seeking a UX Writer to join its product team. PayPay's product team is committed to resolving user inconveniences and delivering new value at all payment touchpoints. The UX Writer will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to create user-friendly UX copies for the UI and guide pages of apps and web services.

Role involves:

• Creating, proofreading, and proposing user-friendly UX copies in Japanese for app and web service UIs and guide pages.
• Creating UI text, text composition, and proofreading for the PayPay app, merchant app, and web tools.
• Proofreading designs created in English and creating/composing Japanese copies.
• Creating various texts for microcopies, push notifications, and emails used for user communication in apps and web tools.
• Conducting internal and external research and creating text based on data.

Requirements:

• Native-level Japanese skills.
• Either 3+ years of English-Japanese translation experience or 2+ years of English-to-Japanese localization experience.
• OR experience in UX writing/content writing in Japanese.
