Job Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Architecture to lead their North America Solutions Architecture team. This role involves leading a team of Solutions Architect leaders, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer success. The Senior Director will build strong customer relationships, ensure technical excellence, and drive sales efforts, partnering with sales leaders and the broader Americas revenue team.
What This Role Involves:
- Leading the Solutions Architecture team for North America.
- Mentoring and growing a team of high-performing solutions architects.
- Implementing scalable processes and best practices.
- Partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
- Engaging with key customers and partners.
- Serving as an escalation point for strategic customers.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of dbt Labs’ product suite.
- Establishing a robust enablement program.
- Collaborating with various functions to align initiatives.
- Championing the voice of the customer.
- Reviewing and optimizing team performance.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity.
- 5+ years of second line management experience.
- Industry experience across data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data science.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
