Senior Operations Analyst

WiseEnergy is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join its Commercial & ESG team in Milan. This role focuses on strengthening service delivery to pre-construction sites and refining operational asset management services. The Senior Operations Analyst will support operational asset management services to various asset owners, including NextEnergy, with plants in Italy. The role also involves developing expertise in agrivoltaics.

Responsibilities include:

• Regulatory management with authorities like GSE, ARERA, TERNA, e-distribuzione, and Agenzia delle Dogane.
• Managing regulatory and compliance practices for assets under construction.
• Developing specialist knowledge of regulatory and contractual aspects of agrivoltaic plants.
• Contract management, including renewals and tendering.
• Supporting regulatory audits and client reporting.
• Preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with ESG and community relations obligations.
• Managing land agreements and relationships with landlords.
• Asset onboarding onto the company’s asset management platform (AMP).
• Ad hoc domestic travel in Italy.

Requirements:

• Educated to degree level in engineering, economics, science, or law.
• Significant regulatory and contract knowledge and experience.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the renewable energy space, preferably solar.
• Fluent in Italian and business-level English.
• The right to work in Italy.
